A library card can be blocked for a few reasons. Patrons are unable to use their library cards if they have more than $5 in fines. Fines can be paid on-line by going to your library account or they can be paid at any participating Winnefox Library (the Fond du Lac Public Library does not participate in the Winnefox Automated Card Catalog). Cards my also be blocked if your card needs renewing. Every library user's card expires once a year. In order to update the card a library staff member simply needs to verify your telephone number and address. Updating a card is a very quick process and can be done at the circulation counter or over the phone. Any participating Winnefox Library can update a patron's card.
Starting June 10th, Adults are invited to borrow a book from the Library, read it and return it to enter your name into the six weekly drawings.
